Looks like a wilton tradesman. middle of the road (better than the imports, not as good as the machinist's or combo vises). hard to tell what size it is, but $75 is a good deal for one of those.

We carry both wilton imports and USA vises. I believe all the import wilton vises have a square shaft, so I would assume this is USA. From what I've heard round shafts are preferable. If that's the case it's a really good deal. It's even a good deal on an wilton import if it's still working.

Looks like a good deal to me, just a little clean job and a fresh coat of paint, and it'll be like a new one. Of course I can't see the jaws, but those too, are an easy fix.

Looks similar to mine. I have a 6175 6 1/2" jaws. Mine says made in usa on the other side. Go get it. If you don't like it you should be able to sell if for a profit.

Yep. Buy it for $75. Hell offer him $65 just to see if he bites.

I paid $200 for my lightly used Tradesman 1765. There better deals out there, like yours. But still worth every cent.
