I'm not familiar with Snap On boxes. My dad is buying this one and I want to make sure it's actually a snap on. This is the only pic I have. Can anyone tell if it's a snap on box? What year ish? Should it have ball bearing slides?

Thanks

I'm going to tell him to make sure the number is there, but I'd hate for him to waste a trip if it's obviously not a snap on. What should the model number resemble, like KRAxxxx?

Be sure and tell your dad if that was in my area your dad would not stand a snow balls chance in hell at buying it, as he would have to beat down the wolf pack at that good price!:thumbup::)

Yep it is, I have those with a center section. 500 bucks is a steal, that top and bottom is around 4500 bucks. As a matter of fact that's so cheap I'd wonder what was up

Sure it's legit, it says Snap on right on them ;)

No seriously, looks legit. Model number should be stamped on back of them. $500 is a great price. Congrats and good luck!

Just helped him unload it. It's a little beat up, but everything works.

I'm a little surprised that the only drawer with dual slides is the full width one. I guess that's because it's a lower end box? Can you add slides to the bottom drawers if desired?

That's a hell of a deal, best deal I've ever heard of. It's the heritage series which is Snap-On least expensive box's but they aren't low end box's. There probably better than anyone else best box's. They're smaller, 20 inch deep and don't have the space most techs need in a shop, great box's for home use. These are the box's they sold for years until they figured out that they could sell 15,000 dollar tool box's. I've had mine for 15 years and they work as good as the day I bought them and they're full.

Well, well, well., I haven't given one of these out in a while....YOU ****. $1500.00 here in SoCal. BTW Snap On boxes will be bearing slide unless the drawers have the chrome trim, the older boxes don't have the trim.

Wow!! What a great find! That's a excellent deal. The box appears to have been well taken care of.

Congrats!
