Is this a pulley?

Hi,
I gathered up some pulleys I've pulled off old electric motors and got them cleaned up this weekend. I have this one item that was mounted to a motor shaft but I'm not quite sure about it. Is it maybe some flat belt pulley or something else?

A flat belt pulley would have a slight crown on it, (the centre is slightly wider than the ends), so unlikely that's for a flat belt, unless it's a homemade jobbie where they didn't realise about crowning a pulley.

Could be for a home grown belt sander, how wide is it ?

Could be a drive wheel that mates with a rubber tired driven wheel. It could be for a flat belt where the crown is on another wheel.

It's about 1 3/16" wide and 1 3/4" diameter

That's a flat belt pulley. I've seen them most commonly used on wood shapers.

Could have been used on a dual shaft motor as a "knob" to turn the motor for a scroll saw or similar.

Was the motor shaft long enough that this could have been a spacer for a pulley farther out on the shaft?

Back in the late 40'S, early 50'S, Our rural areas were getting electrical service. Many machines on the farms that were powered by gasoline engines using a flat belt were then re-powered with electric motors mated to a pulley similar to that one.
