I would agree that it is probably a snap-on, I've got the black handled version of that one and it is very difficult to make out the name on it. However, just because it is a snap-on doesn't mean you are going to like it. The one like that I have is the last one I grab out of the drawer, because it is not very comfortable on the hands. The newer hard handle snap-on extension, mac extension handle, old Par-x, and Kal all get more action than my octo-grip.

Here is the catch. TMV4: It has a "V" in the code. At least he is honest. Means it is a government model and does not have a warranty.

Thanks guys. Never knew they made a handle like that. It reminds me of the basic C-man screwdriver handles. Real hard to get a good grip on them.

That is the Octogrip made from about 48 to about 60. Par-X used the design until about the early 70's.
