Is this a real Snap On?

Just picked this up for $75.. good condition, previous owner painted it. I see a partial serial on the back in the right place but can't make the whole thing out from the paint. I'm thinking it's from the 80's or 90's. It has a pull out handle & 4 carry handles on the sides.

I've never seen a snap on box like this. What did I just buy and how much is it worth?

Well the handle is built into the box.. the only numbers I can make out on the back is 315
