is this a snap on toolbox?

looks like 91 to me.

it does have the later type aluminum drawer edge pulls on it, those came out in the mid 80's IIRC

I never knew of tacos having bb slides, but I didn't know either they were made up to 91.

could very well have roller slides, SO started using them in the bigger boxes in '86 or so.

With the handle off, sell it for a few bucks if you want. You could push it up against the wall and have a nice work peninsula. Storage on all 3 sides.

The older snap on handles are actually two pieces of C channel that slide together. It may take some force, but they will slide apart axially. Look at the end and you will see which is the outer and which is the inner. Take apart, mount 1/2 to box w/ screws, slide on other half, put on end caps, done.

I'm not a fan of those handles, but to each their own. Just take up too much space and are easy to get caught on IMHO. A few threads down I saw a guy make a nice side handle out of mahogany. Sweet.
