Wilton makes three "Bullet" vises...

The Tradesman, the Machinist, and the combination series...

The photo will show you the size difference between the Tradesman and the Machinist...

The Combination is "sort of" in between the two, and has pipe jaws which the machinist does not...

Good vices...Everybody's "gee, I want one of those", is the 500/600/800 Machinist, and the C2/C3...

But they are never, or almost never, cheap...

The vise you have there, is a Tradesman, which is a bang up home use vise...Will do 95% of the things you need a vise for, so if it's not priced in thr stratosphere, get it...

i picked up for my son in law a large welding table with a 1/2" steel top on wheels with probably 30 assorted vise grip welding clamps and it had a 6" tradesman wilton in excellent shape on it for 400 and still believe it was a steal.

I've got a 1765 (6 1/2 in jaws) for which KMScott made me a new pair of jaw inserts (they're awesome, BTW). If you're looking for a user, and it's undamaged and works correctly, you can't go wrong for $100. Unless you're working on steam locomotives or plan to beat the snot out of stuff with a 4 lb hammer, it'll do all needs done in the DIY garage.
