Snap-on #PSTX500E : "Socket Driver, Power, TORX® (GM Style), T50"

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...674935&supersede=&store=snapon-store&tool=all

As far as I know of, there is only one Torx that is designed by GM which is T-47 but for some reason Snap-on is labeling this socket driver as T-50? The image as shown on their website (showing "T-50" on the socket) is not believed to be the actual one I am speaking about.

Also it is my understanding that T-47 is actually a Torx Plus style but why are they classified as a standard Torx?

Hiball, that link above is for their standard torx in chrome. The one I provided is for impact gun (power driver).

So.....what is the odd ball Torx that is used on seat belts by GM? The socket doesn't say TP, like Torx-Plus is listed as....of course mine in an old Snappy version.

Have broken a couple of them trying to get lock tighted seat belts out....

I have the Mac version of the seat belt bolt torx. I think it was described as a t-50.5 or something like that. I bought it YEARS ago and am actually surprised I still have it. It is a weird size and only fits those bolts. I dont even remember what cars it worked on because I havent used it in a few years. There is no size on the socket just a part number and Mac USA.
