Is this an altered Snap on tool?

Hi guys!
It's my first time here, and I need some help identifying this tool. It's supposed to be a Snap on ratchet, F670A, BUT it isn't. Maybe someone just used the handle and modified it? I noticed that there is the #3 between the USA and Snap on too, if that means anything. I will be looking for some help identifying a few things in the future. Is this the best place to do that? Appreciate any :headscrat info you all can offer. Thank you!

That is what I was trying to determine. Whether it was possible or not. It doesn't look like it's been taken apart but I guess if you know what you're doing, it wouldn't.
I did wonder about the number 3 on the space between the Snap on logo and USA,
I didn't see anyone else describing that on any of the posts for the F 670A.

I could see some one putting a ratchet head on a breaker bar, but why would they put an breaker bar fitting on a ratchet handle? But who knows. Garage Journal used to have a thief here that would put a china ratchet head on to a craftsman breaker bar and sell them as some thing special and get big bucks out of them to people who didn't know. He was banned from the site.

Previous owner might have swapped heads with breaker bar that had a longer or shorter handle. Just guessing.

Thanks for all the input. I read something on here earlier about that particular # F670A being kind of rare? I can't find it now, but I do think that it was from 1963, which would fit the style of 3 that is on the handle. Of course, wouldn't you know mine would be a mutant tool. Oh well...
So the next question would be... I have some other stuff, like this picture shows, some like the Crescent I can probably look up and figure out myself what they're worth and if anyone wants them, but some are not marked at all. What is the best or proper way to do this here. Do I start a new thread for each or find something similar and jump into the conversation or what? Ok no pic because file won't upload , pfffft.

Yes, it is an altered tool.

Hope this sheds some light on it.
