Is this an International Harvester tool set socket or just coincidence?

I was rummaging through a box of misc sockets yesterdy and something cought my eye. The letters IHC on the side of a proto socket. Was this socket from an IH tool set? Or do the letters mean something else? The letters are not engraved or samped but sortof printed on the socket

Can anyone confirm/deny what I am thinking?

The "IHC" appears to be etched on. It was probably used in an IHC factory and somebody took a five finger discount.

The mechanics tools IH sold were made by wright. They were marked international harvester, not wright. No idea what the deal with that socket is. I have a micrometer that came out of the old IH truck plant in Springfield Ohio. It has the traditional IH logo, which is an I superimposed on an h. It also has a number engraved on it. Google IH logo to see what the logo is. I can't upload one right now from my phone.

Bindernut, No offense but I know what the IH logo is. I also know about Wright and IH tools and all that. I guess I didn't let on to any of that in my original post though. I was just thrown off by this socket and wondered if anyone else has seen anythng like this. Maybe the IHC on this socket has nothing to do with International Harvester. I do know that Allis Chalmers tool sets had Proto sockets and thought maybe there was some version of IH set that had Proto sockets as well.

Also, on a similar but different subject, I thought I read somewhere that the IH/wright sockets were made from different suppliers, thats why there are so many variations in size / logo, etc.

That socket actually dates back from the time of the headless horseman, carrying the initials of Ichabod H. Crane.
