Is this attic ventilation enough?

Before I blow in insulation for the attic on a new pole barn I need to put in a barrier so it doesn't fill up the soffits and block my ventilation. The roof steel has corrugated ribs and every 9" or so has a 1" hole between it and the roof purlin - will this provide enough air flow? I would otherwise need to use some other sort of way to put my baffles in to block the blown insulation and provide adequate air flow.

I can't answer your question, but you probably have only one shot at getting this right. Is there any good reason (other than the required extra work) for not having more ventilation?

I have a 24 x 60 ft attic... floor insulated... ridge and soffit vents... I'm in direct southern Sun... was getting way to hot with just the vents...

Added an electric roof vent... set to 100 degrees... works wonders... all issues solved.

No not enough. Those are typically filled with foam things to keep birds out. There’s no space above the purlins? That steel will bake that place.
Before the ceiling goes up you can staple housewrap or cardboard up the roof to keep insulation out of bay. Can run string and staple over it if timber framed

It is hard to over vent a roof

And remember you need to let the hot air out.
Do you have a ridge vent?

Bigger at both ends is better.

Also do you have a soffit or is it open? If open you don’t want to be drilling holes and making wasp and bird homes. Suggest end wall vents with power as mentioned above. Just putting 12x12 vents on each end will not move enough air
