Is this bi snap on box loaded with tools worth $2500

Hey everyone!

A friend of mine came across this and asked if I wanted it for $2500.

It is in decent shape, has misc hand tools in it...nothing of which I need.

I know these boxes were super popular back in the day, but not sure if it is as desirable or if I should grab it? I have 8 of the US general boxes lined up in my workshop and satisfied right now, but debating if I should take this thing for another location where it would mostly sit. I'm a sucker for a good deal, so that's why I'm asking I guess??

If it's in good shape, that's a unit. I'd like to know what tools are in it.

I don't know if I'm really in tune with the Snap-on box market (and it varies widely by location) but I'd say that's high. $1,000-$1,500 would be a deal IMO. Looks like it's in good shape but it's definitely an older box.

On the other hand, if it has a bunch of Snap-on tools in it, might be a different story.

On general principles, he should know that we want pictures of all the drawers' contents, with concise inventories, and also what's fallen to the bottom of the cabinet over the years (remove the bottom drawer).

I'll venture a guess that the OP either meant "big" or "bi-level", but until the OP returns, who knows?
