Is this box really Snap-on

There is a box on craigslist. Just wondering if it is really a snap-on box. I know I would not pay $150 for it but would it be worth offering him $80.
Would be a major project to restore.

Yup looks like an older snappy. Doesn't look too bad of shape, I would clean it up and use it as is. Just the right amount of character for an older box.

I've see a few of those out here. Labeled as snap-on. I don't know anything about it but no reason to doubt it is one personally.

Does it also seem to be missing the upper center drawer?

I am looking for a small box to set by my lathe. This one seems like a decent size.

Yes, 1940s k55r on top of a rk50 IIRC.

Yeah it's the K55 series, had this one till I sold it awhile back. I got mine for 60 bux minus the key, and the top part of was faded.

So would $100 be a decent price for it. He is about 30 miles away and said he would do as low as 100.
