Nice sized machinists' box. The drawers will be small, but good for many items; small tools and supplies, pencils, pens and small notebooks. Or machinists' tools.

It will hold its value, up to you if the drive is too long, price is fair.

I'd be shocked if that had ball bearing slides, never saw a box of that type with them. Seems like all the money to me, but I'm probably cheap.

I have a similar box sitting next to my drill press. Very handy for organizing all the little things that go with it. Sounds like a good deal. I paid about that for mine, and it has friction slides. The question only you can answer is how much your time and gas are worth.

It's not really worth it to me unless it's exceptional.

If one of you guys wants it have at it, it's about an hour's drive for me and I don't tend to go that way often otherwise.

If it fits into your tool storage strategy then go for it.

I personally don't like small toolboxes because they take up precious workbench real estate. I'd rather use rollaways/cabinets for tool storage but everyone has different storage needs.

It looks like a rebranded Kennedy box and that price seems reasonable.

When I think Park, I think bicycle, but this looks more like a small machinist's box.

That's my thought.. Park makes bike tools. It's most certainly not ball bearing but its a very cool older chest. I'd offer the guy $45 and go pick it up. You can never have too many cool vintage boxes.

I agree they are very shallow drawer's and not a lot fit into them other than small stuff, like someone said above it would be good beside a drill press, I have a Kennedy box myself and it remains empty, I just keep it because it was the first tool box my Dad ever got me, and like said above I would be surprised if it has roller bearing's. and to me that is not a Bad price,

Do you think it might be the same company? Doesn't look like the same script, but as we all know, companies change script over time...

If that is the case, that might sway me toward getting it and moving my bicycle specific tools from a nondescript c'man hand box to that :)

Good for machinist's tools and/or taps & dies. I've had several, but never one that tall.

unless it has some crazy collector value, it's worth $20 tops as far as I am concerned

I disagree.
$20 buys you a used 2 dwr or 3 dwr lift lid C'man handled box up to 10 years old.

That box looks like a Kennedy and I;d happily pay $50 just because of all of the small dwrs fhat suit small bits, tools and devices in a machine shop.

Friction slides on that one is my bet.

I;d see it as good workbench box for small tools and micro tools and hardware.

:+1: For what it is the price is not bad, but it is not something I would pursue.

I had one of these for about 15 years and it works great for small tools (allen wrenches, small screwdrivers, files, etc). I gave it to a friend of mine so he could store his metal lathe tooling in it. I don't really miss it, honestly.

It all boils down to what your intended use is.
