Not the same as you have listed but still way overpriced. He'll do good to get 400. Drill presses don't hold resale value very well.

If so he did it twice.
Used tools were well priced on CL when I lived in the Detroit suburbs. Now that I am in the sticks people seem to want a fortune for stuff (mostly junk)

Cman drill presses have been imported for over 10 years now. They come from Taiwan not China.

The fancy vise adds a little extra to the value, but not that much.
