New, but it looks like the head bends to the side. The handle and shaft look fine. What the hell man....

It looks a little bent. Check with your Snap On guy to see if you can get $10,000 a month to display it since it could be the only one ever made....

LOL!

At least I now know I'm not the only one tempted to make such jokes all of the time...I've actually canceled multiple posts with this same joke in it, thinking it would get old and thus not be funny. The fact I am actually laughing means it hasn't gotten old yet, at least not for me!

That's the "new" design, swivel-offset-obstruction. I hear there's a premium for that egronomic bend. lol. It's the same as a certain offset broach combination wrench I seem to recall. I think the part number is WTF-80.

:lol_hitti

I actually picked up a ratchet on the truck that was just like that. The dealer said, "yup, that's bent all right but I'll still sell it to you.":spit:

It will fit in with their new line of curved tools. On the same truck, the guy had two OEX8B's that were bent too.:headscrat

Mine is EXACTLY like that, I will post pictures tomorrow or monday. I think the machining on the joint on the ratchet head is off.

That would be Elroy's opinion as well.

Kind of like this:

I don't think it's bent, I the head isn't finished symmetrically. I don't think it's an issue unless you use the ratchet against a wall. Does it ratchet and flex okay? Go use it, get it dirty, drop it a few times, and you won't care. After all, tools are meant to be used not placed against a wall as art. :bounce:.

I'd keep it, put it on display and show the extreme Snap-on guys that their tools aren't perfect, either.

The hole the pin goes though probably wasnt drilled/stamped/forged straight.

Something definitely ain't right. I wondering if this may be true.

He head isn't quite fitting right in the forked end. You can feel a weird friction when tilting the head. Something isn't machined right.

I bet Snap-on will give you $1,000 a month to display that.

I STILL find that joke hilarious! I've been tempted to post that many times, but wasn't sure if everyone else would be annoyed! But I'm glad I'm not alone in still finding it funny!
