Is this really a MAC Toolbox?

I picked up this toolbox a few years ago at auction. I think I paid $10 for it. I have always wondered if it really is from MAC.


Since I have now joined GJ, I can ask the "experts" to weigh in on the question. I have looked high and low over the box for a number or some other mark, and have found nothing.

So what do you all think?

Yes, quiet an old one 50's-60's. What are the dimensions? It should be stamped on the back or one of the sides IIRC.

It measures 22 5/8" long by 10" wide by 10.5" tall. I can find nothing stamped anywhere.
