For that price make sure to call in the S/N to make sure there's no lien on it, do it while you're there and if it's clear take Teddy KGB's advice.

I paid $2500 for a top and bottom box like that with no side boxes at all. Mine was in good shape, but I needed to rebuild the slides.

If those are in a body shop, I'd note the condition of the slides very carefully. The odds are good you will at least need to rebuild them if they are dirty. If bondo dust was ground into the bearings and used anyways, then they may not be rebuildable to a level that would satisfy me. In which case, you are probably looking at replacing them.

If that is a KR761/kr791 combo and my memory is correct, then the slides are p/n 08-2188ALRS which were $80+ a pair. Top drawer in the bottom cabinet rides on a double height accuride set which I don't think is available any longer. I've heard rumor you can double up the above p/n to replace them, but have never done it.

I clean slides by degreasing, pressure washing, and then soaking in diesel and blowing out with compressed air a couple times. Then lube with Lithium grease.

Bottom line for me: Check the slides out very carefully. If they are good or even rebuildable, it is a very good deal. If you are worried about the slides, you better budget $80+ per drawer or have a really good relationship with your local SO guy.

For $3k, if the slides are good and it doesn't have a lien on it, it'd be hard to go wrong.

It is the much shorter KRL box and may be the narrower 24" deep variety too but for a top and bottom with locker and endcab it's still a good deal if you like the cranberry.
