I don't think I would go that on that set as I understand they have moved production to Taiwan
Actually they didn't, most of their tools are still made here in Europe but it's true that some of their new products come from Tawain (the 3/8" rotator for example).
However sockets are usually from France, ratchets (of this type) from Italy (some NOS, from France too).
no ratchet, but i think you'll like this set a lot better -
http://www.cripedistributing.com/gearwrench-71pc-impact-saemetric-deep-universal-84903-p-7585.html for $88 and includes a LOT more sockets...plus, they're impact capable.
ahm
Well, I don't think that you can compare Facom and... Gearwrench... It's the not same quality, COO...
Well I don't really need it as I have a 1/4" drive SK set mixed metric and sae that goes up to 15 mm, but I don't have a 1/2 inch drive set, too bad it's metric only.
Anyways, is this a pretty good deal, for this type of quality?

This is a fair deal but nothing exceptional either, not many sockets, 12 pts,.. I wouldn't buy it except if it were composed of exactly what you wanted...
For example you have
this from The Tool Academy on ebay.co.uk for 162$ delivered in the US, it's metric but it's 6 points, from 10 to 32 with extensions and joint. It's the basic mechanics set from Facom here in Europe...
