hello,
I am not sure about this yellow wool hanging in the space accessible from outside the house.
- what do you call this space/area marked in red in photo?
- The yellow wool inside that space, looks like someone just kept it for storage or its there to insulate? if insulate then why its just on the ground,

Just above that area inside the house, there is a door partitioned small room a size of 55inch x 110inches, where there is a heat vent and 2 wall outlet. I have a refrigerator there and a shelf where i put vacuum and other supplies.

how can I make this place look neat and tidy, do the right thing there what its supposed to be done there. so I can store some stuff there.

Thankyou :)

Is this real?

That is a crawlspace.

The "yellow wool" is insulation. It's there (in poor condition) to insulate the area, likely to keep the space above conditioned.

There is a lot going on in that pic OP

you have Romex just hanging there…
a downspout drain line under the house…why…what is it connected to?
insulating Mother Earth is doing no good…should be properly a fixed to floor joists…
what is that piece, unconnected, of PT that is supporting that plywood box….what is all of that?

All that yellow insulation should get tossed. I am guessing it was against the bottom of the floor at once time and got torn down.
It looks like a good place to collect mice!

what should be the thickness of foamular and please tell me type of glue to use to put foamular there.

before putting foamular, do you recommend to paint inside? if yes, which type of paint should I use there?
Best Regards
I would have to know more to decide if it is even worth insulating.

Often crawl spaces are left cold and you insulate the bottom of the floor and ventilate the crawl space. Up north I would probably insulate the crawl, but can you do a decent job? If you can not get it insulated all over it is questionable if it is worth insulating at all.

Get it cleaned up, and some better pictures of what is there as far as the foundation and knee wall.

ok, i cleaned it all. so much stuff was there ( old window, lots of 2x4, lots of wood), please check photos

first picture is foggy because of fiber glass in air.

now the question remains, how do I insulate there?
foamular ( please tell me its thickness) or if something else is required for insulation.

As for insulation, thicker is pretty much always better. As for adhesive, I would look on the link in my earlier post and see what the recommend, or exclude. The wrong adhesive may attack the foam, but I would assume some sort of construction adhesive caulk. Buy some cans ov expanding foam to fill in cracks.
