Adding a 3rd garage to my house. Installing a 100 amp sub panel off my house's 200amp panel. I searched the threads here and this is what I came up with. I plan on putting in a 90 amp breaker feeding my sub panel with http://www.homedepot.com/p/Southwire-2-2-2-4-Aluminum-SER-Wire-By-the-Foot-13102999/205001908?quantity=70, the run will be about 55'. I want to put in a 220 outlet for a future welder. That run will be about 50' to the opposite corner of the garage using this wire http://www.homedepot.com/p/Southwire-6-2-NM-W-G-By-the-Foot-28894499/204632776?quantity=70 Anyone see any problem with that before I order. Thanks
Bob

The wire you selected will do just fine. The 2-2-2-4 AL SER is good for 90A and the 6-2 Cu is good for 55A. The distances you listed are no issue.

Thanks. I thought they looked right from all the reading I did on here but wanted to double check.
Thanks again

Yes it is all inside. Going to order tonight. Garage is far from ready. Concrete is done waiting on the framer to get done where he is at. Thought I would get the Ser run in my basebent to the corner where I hope to shoot into the new garage's wall then into the sub panel.
