im looking at buying a second set of wrenches and i keep getting my eye cought by the xforce, crossforce style of wrenches are they worth the extra money or should i just get standard style

They're not must haves -- in fact they are a little gimmicky. But with that said, I do like mine for high torque applications, since they're a lot more comfortable. They also have a better profile if you need to persuade the nut with a little hammering on the wrench...

I bought a set of Crescent cross-force wrenches; haven't had a chance to use it yet .. but the concept is good :)

Resist the temptation!!

It depends on what you're working on; if you have plenty of room to swing them, like for heavy trucks with relatively spacious engine bays, the're great. If you're working in limited space conditions, like on a car, I can't stand them, either the extra wide head or longer length get in the way EVERY time, there just isn't room to swing them. :mad::mad:!!!

I would recommend a flex head in the same length.

thanks guys i ended up ordering long pattern non ratcheting gearwrenches. then i posted another question haha. i wish i could afford tool truck brands
