That's the beauty of owning other tools - to make/modify something into what you need.
With an oxy/acetylene rig you can heat/weld/bend a typical #3 into whatever you want. Put the handle in a vice, heat the shaft, pull from handle. Now cut to length and reinsert. Cut the handle down if needed too.

Probably get by with a heat gun and hacksaw too...
Between my little welder, the torch, angle grinder and a bench grinder, none of my tools are safe. They either do what I need them to do or suffer the consequences!
