ISO Toolbox Drawer Edging.

Hey folks, I have scoured the internet and every forum and for sale site I can find and I have been unable to find what I am looking for.

I have this lovely old popular mechanics toolbox. All but one of the drawers still have the silver edging on the drawer handles, but most have seen better days.

I have looked everywhere and I cannot find anything of this style, I have foudn plenty of car door guard, all in terrible colors and made of thin cheap rubber.

If any of you have a line on where I can get some lengths of this material that would be much appreciated.

Nice. Don't see those much. I have looked for that edging myself to no avail. Was used on a number of economy brand boxes, maybe look for a parts box.

Looks close to the same edging used on the Craftsman red/grey boxes. I bought a couple new pieces about 4 years ago online for boxes I was restoring. Can't remember the site, but do a search for craftsman tool box parts and you should find it. May not be an exact match, but it might be better than none at all.

That sounds like a plan, I am not restoring it in any way, just cleaning it up for everyday usage, so it does not have to be original, I would love to find one to match it, but if I need to replace them all with something new to match it, I am fine with that too.
