Someone must know?

It's obvious that we need insulation below the concrete, and also along the foundation walls (separating the slab from the foundation wall).

But how about in the door openings?
The slab will be poured over/into these openings.
What is the RIGHT way to isolate the slab from the foundation in these area?

I found these 2 products at the local Home D.
Would I line the openings (garage doors and man doors) with this along the top of foundation blocks and vertical too? The slab will be 5-6" thick, with 4" thick through the opening.
Will this isolate the slab from the foundation?

Thoughts?

I always stop the slab at the door -- so when the door is down it sits in front of my slab. So I have a <2" or so lip at the door -- it also stops water or leaves from being blown into he garage.

I use a traditional strip between the two -- nothing is going to be perfect. Normally the driveway slopes from the garage opening to shed water -- I factor all of this into the grading
