I converted my 8ft fluorescent light tubes to LED about 3 years ago, now the starting to go bad. Below is a picture of one of them only one side is working.

It's the module, not the LEDs. Each tube has 2 modules, one at each side. I was able to move one over to another tube so 2 good ones are working.

Here a picture of the module. I connected it to 110 V to see what the DC volt output is and it was 110V DC. Interesting.

The product I using is the link below from Amazon.

JOMITOP R17d Rotatable HO Base V Shaped 65W 8 Foot Led Lulbs Double Row

I'm just looking if anybody here has the same issue. I tried to find just the module so I can repair them.

Thanks for any input.

I just completed a similar project, converted all of my existing old-school garage fluorescent fixtures to 'type B' ballast bypass LED tubes. One half of the fixtures are 8 ft, but mine are the single-pin-on-each-end variety.

I couldn't be happier with the results. No more buzzing! And the light quality is superior to the fluorescents.

I got all of the tubes and a couple of new fixtures from 1000bulbs.com. Their customer service is superb and I thought their prices were pretty good, too. I guess time will tell if I encounter the same issues as you, but hopefully not.

When buying from Amazon, I always recommend googling the company name (in this case Jomitop) to see if they are an actual company or just some made up name that someone is using. If you can find the company website, they "might" be legit. If you cant find the company website, they are definitely just somebody buying the cheapest tubes they can find and then re-selling them on Amazon.
The 6000K color is another red flag. This color doesn't really exist in the lighting world and indicates that these tubes were made with diodes that are factory seconds. If they're willing to use blemished diodes to keep costs down, then they're also willing to use the cheapest drivers that they can find, hence your problem.
These are not made to be fixed, so unless you're an OEM manufacturer it's going to be difficult to source an appropriate driver.
Good luck,
CD

Amazon is just trash now. Every single product you search for the first page is likely going to be Chinese garbage flooding the market under fifty different names.
