Today, I took an anvil in trade on a tool I was selling. This was the second "anvil offer" this week.
I gave the buyer $250 credit for the anvil, on a $600 purchase.
Yeah, someone welded two pieces of round bar to the side, but, hey, maybe I can use them to bend something.
Markings appear to say:
PHOENIX
MS&S
WARRANTED
And then these markings:
Face is 3-1/2" x 14", and overall length is 24"
Height is 9"
Weight is approx. 100# (haven't weighed it, but have carried it from a car trunk to my shop)

Face is solid. Has nice ring and rebound. And I only paid $100 for the item I sold him for $600, so in the long game, I got an anvil and $350 for $100 investment.
