so the wife decided to put the truck in the garage yesterday. I have mentioned on a few occasions that when backing it in DO NOT back up to the 1" lip and then gun the truck to roll it up over it and the Race Deck. Since I put a Marine Grade Epoxy before putting the Race Deck down there is not a lot of grip on the concrete below it. She sent me this txt yesterday afternoon

:willy_nil:willy_nil:willy_nil:willy_nil:willy_nil:willy_nil. Honey I'm so sorry this will never happen again. Please forgive me. I love you. along with these pictures.

You can see just how far it slid the floor in this picture

It's all good and fortunately there was no damage to any of the tiles and it took me about 20 minutes to pull the floor back into place and snap the tiles back together. we did however have a driving lesson on just how to get the truck into the garage "again"

Seems like that will be a chronic problem since you ran the tiles out past the door across the threshold. I'd probably pull the last row and move the trim strip inboard so the door seals on the concrete if it were mine.

We have recommended when this has rarely happend with our GD series tiles which are similar to these tiles mentioned to put a bead of Loctite PL 3X adhesive under the front edging and first 1-2 rows of tiles. This helps to prevent the 'sheet' from moving but still allows it to float with minor movement and from expansion/contraction. As far as we know once this was done the problem never happened again.

Actually it is in side about 2" inches. She just gave it too much gas to get it to roll up.

for some reason the Mud tires on the truck grab the tiles real well and with no real weight sitting on the tiles it moves pretty easily.

Thanks I'll be doing this ASAP.

Dang, she moved the whole floor about 18", huh? Impressive. She should team up with my wife and open a garage demolition business. Mine attempted to back out of the garage once with the door still closed. Destroyed the garage door, bumper and trunk of a new BMW.
