It was only .99 cents!

I know that we all have great finds, often picking up tools for pennies on the dollar. This thread is for those finds. Anything awesome that you bought for under $1.00

I'll start. I picked up this six wrenches today for $5. Effectively making the about .84 cents each.

From top to bottom
Proto 9/16

Select Steel 7/8 open end, 3/4 box end
Easco 9/16

I'm still new to digging through rusty bins for old wrenches, but I was happy to grab these out of the $1 bin at the pawn shop rather than the shiny craftsman wrenches out of the $3-$5 bin.

In fact the proprietor even pointed out that they had some "really nice craftsman stuff over there as well". Nothing against craftsman but these are so much cooler.

Believe it or not, but I got every one of the tools you see here for a $1 or less.....

The Snap-on pliers and the two orange hard handle #2 phillips screwdrivers were $1 ea. all the rest were .50 cents each!

Of course they didn't look that good when I first got them.....this pic is after I've cleaned them.

The bent handle flex head ratchet I got from two old codgers (that look like they had been on a 5 day drunk ) and it was sooooo rusted you could barley tell it was a ratchet (I still have to keep an eye on it cause it will rust again in a flash) I offered .50 cents and they looked at each other and said "sure"
Cleaned & lubed and it works great!

The ratcheting screwdriver was buried in with a pile of junk tools and it was locked up and wouldn't ratchet......lady wanted a $1 but when I told her it was frozen, she gave it to me for .50 cents I got it half way down one aisle of the flea market, and by the time I got down to the end of the next aisle, I had it freed up and working
When I got home I took it apart and cleaned and lubed it up and it works like new!

It's on the shelf next to the Ovaltine.

Restore locally has buckets of various brand/size wrenches for $1 each. Got my Toyota and Rolls Royce wrenches out of their buckets.

I have two full sets of Toyota Landcruiser tool rolls. I love them. Now I just need to get another landcruiser to put them in.

Garage sale find. Blackhawk 1/4" ratchet, 2 Proto sockets and a gearwrench extension. Technically .25 each so $1 for the lot
