What if we could have about 4-5 different skins or color schemes to change the board to every now with different color backgrounds and then and even change the text fonts and color.

I've seen some other forums that allow you to change the colors which looks significantly
better. I also dig the black backdrop over on pirate4x4.

It's a good few days' work to create a new skin for a board. vBulletin isn't well written, in terms of its use of CSS (or in any other respect ) so most fora, like this one, use a modification of someone else's design. I doubt that Ryan wants to undo his work and start again, plus add a style switcher (which should be easy, but isn't, thanks again vBulletin), when the current site is crisply designed and very usable.

Don't hold your breath, but I might have a go at writing a monochrome, white on black, version for Stylish.
