Hey folks,

Long time lurker, new poster. I'm in South Florida and I'm a car-guy, so my garage space is pretty important.

I've got an average 2 car setup that's in serious need of some updating. I've outgrown my small tool box and shelving, so I'm here looking for ideas.

My short term goals are a new tool box, a real work bench in the 8' range, and some storage solutions.

I'm trying to hold out until the Christmas holiday season so I can pick up one of the bigger Craftsman boxes. You can find some of them up to 50% off and I'm a habitual low-baller when I have to buy stuff new.

I'd love to pick up some SnapOn boxes, but they're so much money I can't justify the additional cost. (I'm working on slowly growing my SnapOn tool collection, though.)

Oh, and here's a pic of the garage when we moved in. (August 2010) I promise it's MUCH more cluttered right now.

This is my daily driver and left side resident.

And here's the right side resident. It's currently in the throes of open heart surgery in the way of an iron block 5.4 with an Australian Ford Falcon intake setup. It's pretty slick and should make pretty good torque almost off idle.

I left Miami 10 years ago to move further north. At least I got far enough to have winters where I can't have royal palms anymore.

Whats with the ever start battery

After I sucked water and hydrolocked the motor, I pulled out the built motor and twin turbo setup, sold the Optima red top, and threw in an el cheapo WalMart battery just so I can use the radio in the car as a garage stereo.

And you know, for the money I have in that car, I bet I could have bought one hell of a garage sound system.
