ok, so on a scale of 1 to 10, I'll rank it 7.
I had a few scares, the garage project is far from finished though.
a few notes (yes I will be updating with pics and vids today on my project blog)
but essentially, I didnt need the oil primer, so I practised with that on the perimeter
I HATED the spiked shoes, they are kind of slip on jobbies over your shoes, and thats one reason I had a few probs,
I mixed 2 lots of base coat separatly, which helped as I needed to do a second coat.
and the top coat was a saving grace that it wasnt clear, so hid more stuff,
as I coulndt go back I missed a big fcuking run, but its in a corner, so its going t be hidden by either a work bench or cabinets
The top coat, was really fumy , and got into the house for hours, I had more time to work it about an hour, and ITS NOT LIKE PAINTING
its more like learning how to spread icing on a cake so the sqeegee was needed
As a first attempt, well, its not bad, next time I would spend less time on getting oil out and more time with a grinder (with an attached extraction system), that would also have given me a smoother floor , which wouldreally have helped me spread it.
NOT using the flakes, means that if you miss things or make a mistake its going to show. BUt my daughter loves the floor, where gonna have her birthday party in there with a few kids from the neighbour hood.
