After a tone of changes and back and forth with the county I was finally issued a permit on 31 July. Here's where I'm at as of yesterday. The restroom should be framed by the time I get home today.

Sweet design. Nothing like a pull through. I’m envious of your no need to get below the frost line. Staying cool, not so much. Do you plan on adding AC or a swamp? I remember the 70’s when Litchfield was way the heck out in the desert and was only farm and the base.

Bathroom is framed and the firewall side is complete. Roof is scheduled to start next week and I'm currently pulling wire.

oww wow looks big and good what is the planning for the building?
workshop, RV storage or something else?

I don't own an RV but thought that would be a good selling point if that time comes. It will be a garage/workshop. The back portion will have a "mancave" up top once the final inspection is over. County asked for too many details so I decided they didn't need to know about it. The ceiling is vaulted in the back section so I can have 9' of overhead space under the cave.

Been a few months since I updated. I'm all moved in sorta but still working on a few inside projects to get fully settled. We had the outside painted a few weeks ago and the patio installed. Bricks for the patio were already on the property when we bought so we just repurposed.

I've mainly been working on the mancave. Its in the upper portion at the back of the shop. I have 9' of clearance under it for the workspace below. It's complete now but the metal frame is the elevator/lift I installed.
