Stumbled across this site by accident but it's been like a sickness since I found it. I grew up in my dads garage and worked my way through college doing alignments and front end work. After college I became a mechanical engineer and ended up becoming head of maintenance due to my love of fixing things. After stumbling across this site I've fallen back in love with my tools and have become obsessed with buying more. Thanks to the posts on this site I've restored a Parker 824 vise, put new handles on several hammers and have cleaned countless things up with electrolysis. I'm currently purging my snap-on toolbox (my grandfathers) of all things made outside of the USA (I work in manufacturing, this is important to me but i will be friendly to anyone that chooses otherwise) and have focused mostly on old MAC stuff as it was made about 15 minutes up the road. My hobbies focus on restoring old John Deeres and maintaining the family fleet. I hope to keep feeding my new addiction, learning and hopefully contributing my knowledge. I enjoy this place very much!
