At least around here.

A decent Sat AM haul, and 4 of 5 (planned) stops had something for me.

Magnifying lenses for a welding helmet, and an SK "hip roof" tool box that someone sprayed the outside with crappy silver paint, but other wise in good condition. (Not shown, I'm trying to get the silver paint off the badge without killing the badge paint...)

A bunch of stuff from a closing business including a nice USA Wilton Work (vise) positioner, (with a crappy made in Japan mini vise braised onto a bolt mounted on it...), all the dykes and the nippers, (2 of the dykes were Klien, one was H. Boker - Never heard of them but USA), and an installation tool for standard snaps. That one was interesting as it has a cantilever system similar to a vise grip.

A 2" Cincinnati clamp, 7/16 coarse and fine Helicoil taps and the installer for the coarse, two old ignition wrenches - Bonney and Durachrome, a Herbrand tappet wrench, and a Cornwall 3/8 drive socket for 1/4 hex (Never seen a 3/8 drive that small, so I had to have it...)

Almost forgot! the 3/8 speeder is a Snap on!

all told; $17.50!

The larger klein's are angled for flush cutting something I didn't have before.

I have a few Boker tools. They are very very good. Some of mine are Boker from Germany. Boker also made knives, Some German, some from Argentina. One of my Bokers is a very nice pair of linesmans that my uncle, a sparky, used in his trade.
Oh, by the way -- You ****, AGAIN.
Cheers, JimDon

Thanks again Jim! :D

I finally got a pic of the S&K tool box. I was just barely able to spot the S&K logo under all the paint.

I managed to lift most of the paint by soaking the area (limited soak with several layers of Paper towel) with Simple green and hoping the the original inlay paint was tougher that the (probably) rattle can paint. It turned out there had been TWO paint jobs. One purple, and then the crappy silver. I'm not done, but it seems to have been pretty effective. I did have to "detail" scrub parts with my fingernail (most of the aluminum area) and then detail using toothpick (sharpened) in the groves against the original paint.

how does the inside of the box look?

Pretty decent. mostly the original wrinkle finish olive drab, and while there is some wear and tear from use, I'd say better than 90% of the finish is there.
