How big is it? What size is the garage door? Where are the rest of the pictures?

Looks good so far, you have just left too many questions open. ;)

Mine lasted a little longer than that. With storing/working on cars when someone wants to come over and use it there isnt any room and one has to get moved out all the time. Coulda built mine 2x deeper but not any wider. Oh well. 28x30 here.

I hear you there, I built as big as I could (under 550 sq/ft) but it's WAY better than a 8x10 shed...so I'll make it work :D

My theory on sizing a garage: It always turns out to be half as much as you need and twice as much as you can afford.

here's a few pics, its still pretty boring in there I haven’t really had time to put much on the walls like cabinets, banners or pictures...or what ever goes on the garage walls...tools maybe:headscrat

Specs are 750sqft 25x30, 11'10" height inside, 18ft door with lift master, 2x6 walls..cant remember the insulation...:Violent: oh well I'll try and get better pics later next week when its clean (the chevelle is going to a new home)

Shocking. :)

Concrete in the bottom of the fire pit or dirt?

Its a steel liner with dirt at the bottom. Went a little crazy on the size of the slab around the pit but its great having that space, you can back away from the fire if its too hot, and theres room for 10 or more people.

Nice place. I like the fire pit. Looks like you can clean out alot of space by simply downsizing your sterreo and speaker setup.

Yeah your whole bench top could use some space saving. Put the keyboard in a drawer in a tray, hang the monitor on the wall and PC in the cabinet.

Also way too many stools specially when they are stacked up against the wall. Hang them from the ceiling or on the wall when not in use.

But sure is nice to have a nice new place to work.

Thanks for all the specs. I now know that I would be able to put the lift on one side of my proposed garage plan and have room to park my truck on the other.

Short list of things I would do:
_ Weld up tire racks to hang on the wall.
_ Build shelves like in "The Zee Garage" (it's in this forum)
_ Hang the speakers, computer and monitor on the wall
_ Make the engine hoist fold up
_ Hang the stools on the wall like stated before

Just a few things I would do if I was lucky enough to actually have a detached garage.

By the way, does the pay phone work? Because that would awesome!!

Thanks Brent! I remember checking out your build a while back and seeing your deluxe on the lift. Is that the one you sold? Any more pics of past and present rides? Thanks and take care! -MATT

Yeah I sold the grey 65 it needed alot of attention, more than I was willing to give. I think I'm just getting too lazy the older I get. here is a couple shots of it from last winter.
