I know snow is not a big deal for most of you out there. But, here in Georgia, in March, about an hour south of Atlanta it is unusual to say the least. Although the most snow I remember getting here was in March of '93, we had 13 inches. Snowed out the Atlanta NASCAR race that year. At least it won't last. Should be in the fifties tomorrow.

We had a whole flock of Robins in our yard here in eastern Iowa yesterday. We usually get one more 3-6" snow after they come back every year.

We're supposed to get up to 12" here in Northwestern CT by tomorrow. ***** since I go back to work on Monday after being laid off for 2 weeks (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, shop's divided in half) and it would have been better if it did this while I was off.

Another shot of lake effect snow here in NW Indiana today - just enough to screw up traffic and have the salt trucks out. So much for having a clean truck. We're supposed to hit mid to upper 50s at the end of the week so it won't last long.

We had 6" of snow accumulation from snow that started Sunday pm. My cable internet was out of service from about 4pm yesterday until about an hour ago.
Kids were out of school today and also tomorrow. Had a good time in the snow. The last big snow of this size was in March 04 so we are not used to it and don't hate snow like you guys in the snowbelt areas.

I heard THAT one... At the time I was living up in Boone, they brought in the National Guard. They were getting Deuce's stuck in snow, doing food/medical air-drops to people, and landing blackhawks in the mall parking lot. It was a LONG week that week.

We just got a weather warning here in the Pennines in the North West UK.
Snow coming in overnight.
Buggrit, we just got rid of the last lot and I was really hoping that was it for this winter.
