I have a nice collection of Snap On ratchets etc that I'm very happy with.
I had a a pair of 20 year old Industrial Finish standard length ratchets in 3/8" and 1/4" that were working fine. Not issues at all. However wanted to upgrade to some newer - finer teeth - chrome ratchets but could never justify the cost to replace what were perfectly good ratchets.
Anyway, Snap On have a sale at the moment. Buy the AUD$159 3/8" and get the 1/4" for free. If I was ever going to upgrade then now was the time.
I bought the two new ratchets for $159 and sold my 20 year old ones for $143 on eBay. The change over to upgrade 20 year old kit was a total of $16 - that's less than $0.50 per year depreciation for each ratchet.
Put a smile on my face and thought I'd share.
