I think the time has come for two more options to the "Do not Call" list -- "Do not Spam" and "Do not send junk gmail". I know it will be difficult to enforce but we need to start somewhere...

I don't even see the purpose in most spam I visit a local dragstrips web site they have a fourm and a free classified section and there is always spam on there it will say like have a problem wonder if you can help and if you click on it it will say nice weather were having or something stupid like that. maybe someone can clarify to me what is the point I have never been that bored. I think the signing in option is a great idea. Thanks.

If a spammer posts 100,000 emails/messages/IMs and gets back even a couple responses, then they had a successful day. The most fundamental technique is to carpet-bomb users.

IMO, a "Do not spam" list would be counterproductive, because most (all) spammers would see that as a verified list of known good email addresses to target. The wishes of the address owners is of no concern to the spammer.

Thanks for your efforts Ryan!

I can't tell you how much of a blessing this site is. It has saved me so much time/money and also helped me spend a lot (you know what I mean). Thank you for all that you do Ryan!

I don't post much but I've been lurking for a while. Your doing a great job here. To bad this has to cause you extra work.
Keep up the good work.

That has to be a ton of extra work for you. Kudos to you for all the effort you put forth in keeping this one of the best forums around, for this or any activity.

Does this post indicate that requesting to change my username to Big **** would meet a cold reception?

Just asking.
