That's sweet.....LOL Work in the living room!

How long before you start on the new house? (I think I remember that being your plan)

Nice job amigo! I know you put a lot of hard work into the place. Now's the time to enjoy it and put it to work. Good for you! Nice to see someone's dreams come together.

Thanks guys, Im glad to be more settled in each day.

Cyclops, its a YFZ450..identical to my old one(almost)..its a friends unfortunately...i sold all my toys when my son was born due to lack of funds for his toys....someday..

DKRAGER...we were planning on building a house on the north side of the property...but...as of right now...were going to build a shop on the north side of the property...what would happen is...we would take the overhead doors and install them on the new shop...add another bedroom and bathroom to my current place plus full laminate wood. And on the front of the house a full porch...and then call it a house...its really nice we are thrilled it turned out the way it did.

Plus i get to build another "garage"!

Wow that looks awesome!! did you fabricate the cabinets and island or were they bought? What kind of paneling did you use on the lower half of the walls? I really like the look of it, great job

P.S.
just checked out your old posts about the place, I LOVE the corrugated metal on the bottom of the wall, what an amazing effect. I might have to copy that for my garage. Was is rusty when you put it up or is that an added effect? Its fantastic

I used to live in a 3400 sq. ft. steel shop. i sold racing equipment from my showroom which doubled as my bedroom with a hide-a-bed.

One morning one of my lady friends was walking from the shower (which was on the other side of the shop)... she was nekkid as a jaybird... suddenly the service door opened and my buddy jack walked in...

Needless to say she LOCKED all the doors the next time she took a shower in the morning!

:headscrat, so, you have closed up your man-cave and decided to move back into the house with all the comfy couches/furniture....:lol_hitti

I can't have a couch in my shop; I would just want to lay around (drunk) too much instead of working....:lol_hitti:beer:

You must be over 7' tall if that TV doesn't hurt your neck.

The whole building is insulated with spray foam, including the roof it insulates really well.

No I did not fab. the cabinets or the island, these hands work with metal...not wood LOL

This place was built to be a temporary home...then a shop...but we have decided to make this more home-like and build a shop...we like living here that much!

The TV has since been moved down to where it is in the picture of the ATV...You might think it would be too high but when your kicked back on the couch or in the recliner its just right...and from the bar...its perfect...surround sound jams too LOL

Hey ATV - way to stick to you guns (thought you'd like that analogy being from Texas!). When you where first posting people where going on about gas and exhaust fumes in the living area - but now we can all see you paln to keep your "wall" open for fresh air!!

Are you gonna put in a hanging ceiling or ???

I agree wiht Jay though- if my shop had those amenities, I wouldn't be doing much work!!!
