Jack identification

Long time lurker and I'm amazed at the knowledge base here. I've searched without satisfaction, so I'm coming to you guys.

I have this old jack I just picked up for $15. Sold as a Craftsman jack but there are no stickers left on it. Any idea on what it really is, the tonnage rating, if it's rebuildable (works great now) and if it's worth he $15?

Can't help you with the lift rating, but that is well worth what you paid for it. It is easier to rebuild them if you can get a kit, but when I rebuilt my jack, the kit consisted mainly of O rings and the U cup, which I probably could have sourced from a good hydraulic shop. If its not broken though, don't fix it.

I don't plan on monkeying with it, I just like buying things that aren't one and done.

It was covered in grime but a few Quarters at the lical car wash brought out a decent looking piece.

Probably rated for 1-1/2 tons. It is an imported design. You did fine for $15 dollars.
