Hello. Picked up a serious H Frame press the other day (we'll have to start an entirely new thread about this beast). Although it was not the original ram/jack for the press, this old boy came with the unit. The Blackhawk P-76 pump is obvious. However, I can not ID the jack. Only markings are a "M" stamped into the base and 88237 cast into the base. The base was cast to accept 1/2 rod (or more likely square U bolts) to hold it onto something (almost wonder if for an outrigger). Shaft is a 2 2/3". Anyway, I would like to use it as the ram (upside down) in my new to me shop press. Anyone have a clue as to make and, perhaps, capacity? Guessing north of 40ton, but who knows. I probably should source new seals for it before I mount it. Hard to tell, but it's pretty close to Ford Engine Blue (as best as I can recall as I haven't had an iron Ford in a bazillion years), if that helps. Thanks!

Appears to be the working end of a Chicago Pneumatic CP 705 series truck jack. Not sure the cap as it appears they came in 16, 20 and possibly a 50 ton version. Since the shafts on mine is 2 2/3", I'm guessing it's more along the larger capacity.
