Looking for recommendations on new set of jack stands recommendations. Leaning towards these Napa 7 ton jack stands given wide base, height, wide rest pad, and two year warranty. Appreciate any feedback if anyone has owned or used them.

Use case is a Land Rover project.

Not interested in harbor freight stands.

Carlyle is good and I like 6 ton for their bigger base and added height. 7 ton sounds even better. Maybe there is a Labor Day sale or wait until Black Friday,

In addition to solid welds and robust construction I want my ratcheting jack stands to have the locking pin to ensure confidence while under the vehicle.

US Jack main customer is the government, which puts the price outside most consumers. You see their products on military bases. They are not set up to produce the numbers that would bring the price down to a reasonable amount.
The last hold out for non-China jack stands were AC Hydraulic, which were made in Denmark. They discontinued them a few years ago. Now it's just the Chinese brands.
Don't knock the HF ones; they're probably made in the same factories that other brands come from.

While also like the locking pin, that pin isn’t going to prevent failure from poor quality materials/manufacturing or more importantly incorrect use. I would still have redundancy elsewhere, such as tire, blocks, another stand, etc. Suspect many using jack stands with that feature have a false sense of safety.

To be clear, not saying that’s your viewpoint.
