Well since I am horrible at using the search I thought that I would start a thread about jacks and jack stand storage. So, lets see all the creative ways you guys are storing your jacks and stands.

Here's an old thread you may want to check out. I posted my system in there.
Storing Jack stands and Jacks

I think there were some more threads - I'll check later.

[EDIT]
Copy/paste the following text into Google and there are many threads to explore:
jack stand storage site:garagejournal.com

(BTW - you can substitute the beginning text in that line with anything you are looking for)

Not to hijack, but Shopnut......what do you have on the walls as far as covering? I went back and looked at your thread but didn't find it. Is it single tile, a wood backed product, or a vinyl product?

Right now mine are just kept under the water heater. They are out of the way, I don't trip over them and can pull them out when needed.

Kevin,

It is supplied as a 4x8' sheet and is basically a brown Masonite panel, like most pegboard. (In fact, I bought some of the pegboard version of it too) The front side is embossed with 4x4" waterproof tile surface that is called "brushed stainless". Look for "Tileboard Interior Siding" in my Asylum thread index for other replies discussing it. The topic resurfaced recently in Reply #1207 where I snapped some pictures of the manufacturer's label on the back for someone else looking for the stuff. I bought all of mine at Lowes years ago, but they don't stock it anymore. I'm honestly really happy with the stuff.

(Those pictures reminded me that I still need some yellow base molding!)
