Finally. 1 1/4" acme thread, 1.75x.188 main tube, not sure on the legs :laughing:

One leg is adjustable with 3/4" acme thread to accommodate for the slight slope in my driveway if used there.

the adapters are tightened on the stands with a thumbscrew, so they can be swapped with v's for pipe, etc. The bolt coming out of them just make it easy to spin them up and down. The lock nut eliminates all movement and makes the stands 100% solid.

Nice. They look like they can hold up to 2000# each, so four would hold a vehicle. I like the use of the C channel for frame suport.

Yes, they are. my driveway has a slight slope in it, so I built the adjustable leg to level them for safe use in the driveway.

They're much sturdier than 2,000# welding stands. I looked at some, and had somebody measure theirs, and they were using .100-.110 wall tubing. I'm using .188 wall.

I tested the stands by setting two of them under the frame, jacking it up high, and dropping the jack. I figure if they can take that, I'm good to go.

Dad is a farmer, and even asked if they were overbuilt a little. i would have no issue using them on our f-600.

They cost me about $200, including material not used. Not a huge savings, but built like I wanted, built stouter, with the ability to change the adapters, less play, and the leveling leg, compared to pipe/welding stands.

that's 9' of 1.25" acme thread (one 6', one 3' section, only 8' used) (enco)

16-1.25" acme thread nuts (includes 4 to make a v set of adapters) (enco)

3' of .75" acme thread. (Only 1.5' used, and that was way more than needed) (enco)

8- 1/4-20x.75" thumbscrews (enco)

8-.75" acme thread nuts (enco)

2-4' sticks of 1.75x.188 Dom (speedymetals)

7 6' sticks of 1.06"x.145" (no clue what it is) tube (only used 6 of them. (the yard)

1' of 4"x.25" square tubing (to holesaw the feet out of) (the yard)

18" of 1.5x3x.25" channel iron (for the adapters, only used 9" of it) (the yard)

I also used 4 1/4-20x5" bolts, but I had them.

Yeah. the pictures dont really do them justice to just how big and beefy they are according to you specs. If you look at the 5 gallon bucket right beside them, it brings it into perspective. Most folks dont realize just how big that tire in the backgroud is!
