The more I look at it, the more I don't like it.
I like the concept and I like the idea- I don't like how he went about it.
-As I said above, I don't like that the stand is not adjustable. He shows that you can add another pad- that gives you less than an inch of additional height- But you cannot lower it and if you want to raise it, you'll have to drop a lot of money into buying a bunch of those recessed stacking pads.
- I don't like that you must buy different pads for different designs.
It should have on central pad that is adjustable for lower or greater height. Then, attachments for different makes and models. That would solve the adjustment issue as well as making the product a bit easier on the pocketbook.
I don't think it will be too long before a competitor improves on the design and offers a better and more economical product. As long as it's not made in Taiwan, I think there may be stiff competition for this product in the future. He would have been better off being the first on the market with the full adjustability and pricing than to try to recover later after competition takes his market away.
