Jammed air nailer

So I was doing some work around the house, and went to use the air nailer, and apparently the last person to use it jammed it. It is a Paslode F350S PowerMaster Plus. I have looked on the net, and have not found much to aid in this. From the looks of it the driver is jammed with a nail to the side of it.

Any thoughts? I am not sure I want to take it all apart but I fear that is the only way to get the driver unjammed.

Thanks

I don't know about that model, but on my old Senco the feed rail can be removed to get access to jammed nails, and if the hammer/piston is stuck in the down position by the jam, sometimes it could just be driven back up with a pin punch, and that would clear the jam without even having to remove the feed rail.

Obviously with the air disconnected, as 930dreamer said. :thumbup:

jay8s;
try what WWIIjeep said knock the hammer/piston back up with a pin punch, if that doesn't do it try removing the magazine you should have access to the nail there
if not you'll have to take the lower end apart no big deal

i only use Sencos never had a jam....framing, finish, pin or stapler:thumbup:

my CCC box stapler jammed 1 or 2 times

Thanks for the link 930. Darwin is not going to be calling tonight.... I did take the air off. I could not hammer the piston down, and the magazine was on there to tight, so I went ahead and took the back end apart and was able to hammer it back down. The nail was bent to he^&. Time to talk to the person that made me take it apart.

Thanks Guys!

I love this place!

........!

reminds me of when I loaned my air ratchet to a fellow a few shops down from me, he returned it a few days later and said thanks..... anyway, the next time I went to use it, it was screwed.... he must have forgot to tell me that it didn't work any more.
