Japanese Master Woodworkers

I searched to see if there was something similar here and didn't find anything. A site I frequent posted this video today which dropped me down a rabbit hole at youtube watching some of these guys work.....wow. I am not really into woodworking personally but love to see people who excel at their craft.

Fascinating. I use a couple of Japanese tools but not those.
Plane, chisels and saws. That's about what comes to mind right now.

Not really true that only Japanese woodworkers have those. The first are just adzes, and the last is just a broadaxe, just a different style than the western world.

yeah i didn't post it to say they were the best or they were the only one with xyz tools, I just thought it was pretty awesome what they showed in the vids.
