The only thing better than a jaw horse is having a couple of them. That's a great price, when I bought mine about 5 years ago I paid double. Very handy device to have.

Edit to add that they're $120.00 at my local Lowes.

Hard to go wrong at $66

Ridgid also makes a copy that shows up at HD in the Race Track (RT) once in awhile for $89ish

Guess I need to stop in to some Lowes and see if I can find a couple of these. I was looking at them a few months ago when shopping for saw horses but the price was more than I wanted to spend so I picked up a couple of the Toughbuilt horses that hd sells. For $66 I'd like to have one or two of the Jawhorses though.

I have one and it works well, just make sure you know where all your fingers are before you step on that lever.

That's cheap, go get 'em. I got mine 7 years ago for $150 and it's showing $120 at my local Lowes to be picked up in 30 days or ship to home.

My only criticism of the Jawhorse is that is is heavy and awkward to move around if you are not on a solid floor. I use it outdoors sometimes and walking with it on uneven ground isnt easy.

At $66 you cant go wrong. It has tons of uses and is very well made. It folds up nicely and doesnt take up a lot of space. You will be happy.

I've had one for 5 pr 6 years now. I like it and it works well for holding and clamping things. One of my favorite use is to hold my 9mm reloader. It makes it so I can pack the reloader away when not in use instead of eating up bench space with mounted one.
It's a mobile vice that folds up for storage when not in use. It does have a very strong clamping pressure. You got a really good price.

The force these things have is incredible, so like someone said above, finger placement is critical to their existence.

I have one I use almost daily. I'm also now going to be hitting every Lowe's in my area looking for this deal. I've wanted second one for a long time!

Just use brick seek to find them. I am on my way back with one now... Probably should have got 2.

I have both and they can do some of the same things. They are really pretty different animals though. The WM only has a fraction of the clamping power of the JH. I'm glad I have both for extra versatility.

They're all back up to $149 in my area now. But I managed to pick one up for $47 when they were on clearance. Helped me clamp some angle iron last weekend, glad I had it.

There was one left at the Grant and the Boulevard store in Philly after I bought the other two last week. :D

$66/each + tax = $72/each, shelf price still shows them at $120/each

Lists on Amazon for $199/each

I use mine a lot for hand plane work. I clamp it up an sit on the green slide like a saddle or place my foot in the foot holds. Real handy for a quick stand for the miter saw off site. I also will use it for a quick glue up if I already have it out working on the project. I am not sure if it has a place in a well equipped shop, bu working out of a garage it comes in handy.
