OK, here is an interesting contradiction.
JB Weld advertises on the packaging for their "High Heat" product that it is
"Great for: Exhaust Manifolds"

However, when you go to their "FAQ" section of their site, you get this
"Will J-B Weld work on an automotive exhaust?
Because of the extreme temperatures of exhaust systems, we do not recommend J-B Weld for use on exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters"

Has anyone had experience with this product in exhaust applications? I have an inquiry in with these folks and will post their response.
